Phoenix
To renew its youth after 500 years of life, the phoenix burns itelf to ash, which over three days turns into a youthful bird. The bird then flies away to begin its new life. This illustration shows the phoenix rsing from the flames instead of the ashes. This is part two of the story; part one is on folio 70r.
