It is said that the bestiary would have been one of the most read works during the Middle Ages. This was most probably also the case in the Catalan case. This enormous diffusion does not add up, however, with the interest they have shown in Catalan philologists, including linguists... In this work we will present a state of the issue and a description of the Catalan texts that can be considered bestiaries, which can guide the reading of literary works which take themes and motifs, examples and morals, of this genre. - [Abstract]
