Fiore di Virtu în literatura româneasca
Bucuresti: Cultura Nationala, 1928; Series: Memoriile sectiunii literare. Seria III. - Tom. IV, Mem. 2
From Serbian literature the novel [of Alexander] has passed down to us in the second half of the sixteenth century [and] was translated into Romanian, probably in Transylvania. [The original] Romanian prototype has been lost, but a copy from 1620 is preserved [in the] Codex Neagoeanus. In addition to the text of Alexander, in the same codex there is also a another text, which also had a great reason in our old literature, stretching back to our times and which is all about literature of the medieval West. It's a book called Albinusa [bee]. The original is, as we shall see, one of the greatest books of literature [in] Italian from the Middle Ages: Fiore di virtù. - [Author]
