Description
The Bestiaire d'Amour by Richard de Fournival is on folio 86(d)r-106v. There are numerous column width full color framed images. Many of the images feature a man (presumably Richard) showing a woman the animal he is using in his argument; the woman often looks unimpressed. Some animals are pictured more than once.
This is the copy of the Bestiaire designated O.
The manuscript includes several other unrelated texts, poetry and songs in French.
