Contains the Bestiaire of Pierre de Beauvais, short version, on folios 14r-34v. It is not illustrated.
The text is incomplete, ending with the elephant; the onager, diamond, wolf and dog chapters are missing.

The text is in one column. Each beast section begins with a simple capital letter. The text is written in a hurried script that is almost illegible.
Begins "Cy commence le livre que on appelle Bestiaire, et pour ce est il ainsi appellés..." and end "... le malle a autres teus fueilles comme betes".
