Description
The beginning of Branch XIII of Le Roman de Reynard (Reynard the Fox) is on folio 96v. The fragment is 24 lines. It appears to have been written hastily on a blank page. There are three rough pen sketches: possibly Reynard running; two men talking; and an unidentified scribble, vaguely resembling a marine animal.
This is the manuscript fragment designated f by Ernest Martin.
Alternate shelfmark: 7607-5.
